Hong Kong Buttered Thanksgiving Turkey

Directions

  1. Thaw turkey completely. Season with salt and 6 oz Hong Kong sauce overnight
  2. Place in 350 degrees F oven rotating every 30-45 minutes to make sure turkey browns evenly and baste with Hong Kong butter (see below)
  3. Cook for approximately 3.5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F
  4. Remove from oven and let rest for 15-20 minutes
For Basting Butter
  1. Place butter and 2 oz of Hong Kong sauce in microwave for 20 seconds to soften
  2. Mix together and brush over turkey when you rotate
