Hong Kong Buttered Thanksgiving Turkey

Here it is - The star of the show! You won't believe how much flavor you'll get just from this Hong Kong butter!


8 oz This Little Goat went to Hong Kong

14-16 pound whole, fresh turkey

1/4 cup kosher salt

6 oz butter


Thaw turkey completely. Season with salt and 6 oz Hong Kong sauce overnight

Place in 350 degrees F oven rotating every 30-45 minutes to make sure turkey browns evenly and baste with Hong Kong butter (see below)

Cook for approximately 3.5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F

Remove from oven and let rest for 15-20 minutes

For Basting Butter
Place butter and 2 oz of Hong Kong sauce in microwave for 20 seconds to soften

Mix together and brush over turkey when you rotate
