Ingredients
- 8 oz this little goat went to hong kong
- 14-16 pound whole, fresh turkey
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 6 oz butter
Directions
- Thaw turkey completely. Season with salt and 6 oz Hong Kong sauce overnight
- Place in 350 degrees F oven rotating every 30-45 minutes to make sure turkey browns evenly and baste with Hong Kong butter (see below)
- Cook for approximately 3.5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F
- Remove from oven and let rest for 15-20 minutes
For Basting Butter
- Place butter and 2 oz of Hong Kong sauce in microwave for 20 seconds to soften
- Mix together and brush over turkey when you rotate
