Tokyo Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups quartered strawberries
  • 2oz whiskey
  • 0.75oz lemon juice
  • 0.75oz strawberry syrup
  • 0.25oz This Little Goat went to Tokyo

Directions

Strawberry Syrup

  1. Combine sugar and water over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add quartered strawberries to pot and stir on low heat until they soften and start to lose color.
  3. Cut heat, let cool, and then strain out strawberry solids.

Cocktail

  1. Shake whiskey, lemon juice, strawberry syrup, and 0.25oz of This Little Goat went to Tokyo.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
  3. Garnish with strawberry or lemon swath.
