Savory Palmiers


  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed and rolled out
  • ¼ cup of full fat ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 TSP this little goat went to grillville
  • 1 egg whisked with a splash of water 


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Mix together ricotta, cheddar, and This Little Goat went to Grillville
  3. Spread cheese mixture over puff pastry
  4. Fold the left and right sides of the puff pastry in about halfway until the sides meet in the middle
  5. Fold over another time so that the now folded ends meet in the middle and fold once more to create a long rectangle 
  6. Cut the log into small equal sized pieces (optional, freeze for an hour to make cutting easier)
  7. Lay on sheet pan, brush with egg wash and bakes for 15 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.
