Pumpkin Spice Caramel and Apple Sundae

You’ve been hit by, you've been struck by a smooth caramel. PSA - Making caramel is not hard! Let’s show you how to do it! Plus, we'll also be making spiced apples for a yummy sundae.

Caramel Ingredients

2 tsp This Little Goat Pumpkin Spice

2 cups sugar

2 cups heavy cream

1 tsp salt

*Note: If you want to make more, keep in mind the ratio is equal parts sugar and cream*

Caramel Directions

Heat a heavy bottom pot over high heat. You want the pan to be hot enough that when you drop sugar in, it instantly caramelizes. Once it seems hot enough, test the heat by dropping a little sprinkle of sugar to see if it caramelizes.

Start adding sugar a little bit at a time, constantly stir, and let it melt it time. Repeat until all sugar is melted

Slowly add cream and stir until evenly mixed

Strain the clumps out

Season with salt

Let cool slightly before pouring over ice cream or other fave dessert

Spiced Apples Ingredients

2 tsp This Little Goat Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin spice caramel 

2 green apples

2 tbs brown sugar

Pinch of salt

Spiced Apples Directions

Peel apples and cut into quarter inch slices. Don’t forget to remove core and seeds!

Add apples, brown sugar, TLG Pumpkin Spice, and salt to a mixing bowl and mix until apples are evenly coated

Air fry at 395 degrees F for 8 minutes

Add to your favorite ice cream and top with caramel for a dessert worth falling for over and over again!
