Mexico Spiced Fudge Brownie

ingredients

  • 1 3/4 sticks of butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp This Little Goat went to Mexico Spice

directions

  1. In a saucepan, melt together 1 3/4 sticks of butter and 1 cup of dark chocolate chips, stirring occasionally.
  2. Once fully melted, remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups granulated sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 1/2 tsp salt. Stir together until smooth.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, sift together 3/4 cup all purpose flour and 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder. Whisk until evenly combined.
  5. In a greased 7" baking dish, lined with parchment paper, combine all ingredients.
  6. Place in over to bake at 325 F for 50 minutes.
  7. Once done baking, remove from oven and let cool to room temperature.
  8. Top with 1/4 cup powdered sugar mixed with 1 1/2 tsp Mexico spice and serve.
