- 1 3/4 sticks of butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp This Little Goat went to Mexico Spice
directions
- In a saucepan, melt together 1 3/4 sticks of butter and 1 cup of dark chocolate chips, stirring occasionally.
- Once fully melted, remove from heat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups granulated sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 1/2 tsp salt. Stir together until smooth.
- In a separate mixing bowl, sift together 3/4 cup all purpose flour and 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder. Whisk until evenly combined.
- In a greased 7" baking dish, lined with parchment paper, combine all ingredients.
- Place in over to bake at 325 F for 50 minutes.
- Once done baking, remove from oven and let cool to room temperature.
- Top with 1/4 cup powdered sugar mixed with 1 1/2 tsp Mexico spice and serve.
